VoCoVo is an extraordinary company. Their communications technology (headsets, handsets, call points and keypads) feature heavily in most of the UK’s best loved shops. They’re a young company, but they’ve scaled rapidly. In the last 2 years, they’ve been nominated twice in the Deloitte Tech Fast 50. VoCoVo has enjoyed growing profits, a growing team and has developed partnerships with brands such as Coop, Tesco, Halfords, Wicks, Asda.

The brief
I’ve worked with VoCoVo for several years, but over the past year we ramped up content marketing. Together, we co-created a content strategy that hit all the right notes – winning the attention of prospects, nurturing customer relationships and improving upsell. Most importantly, we wanted to drive plenty of traffic to the new VoCoVo website from social media, to generate as many sales leads as possible.
What we did
We designed a content calendar based on the Hubspot ‘flywheel’ methodology. It included content to ‘attract’, ‘engage’ and ‘delight.’ Gradually, we built out VoCoVo’s content, collaborating with their brilliant team and gaining plenty of insight from external research. We developed different streams of content based on the company’s own objectives and key messages and interviewed VoCoVo colleagues regularly in order to write detailed, valuable content.

The outcome
Between July and September 2020, we doubled the website traffic to VoCoVo’s company domain. This greater readership was also reflected in growing social media profiles, and a growing appetite for downloadable content.
